TFG Marine was out in full force at last week’s Oil by S&P Global Commodity Insights Fujairah Bunkering & Fuel Oil Forum (FUJCON 2023) in the UAE.

Kenneth Dam, our Global Head of Bunkering joined industry peers Guido Cardullo from Marine Fuel and LNG | Fratelli Cosulich and Katharina Stanzell from INTERTANKO on a panel to discuss the commercial opportunities, operational efficiencies and regulatory challenges in tanker markets. During the session, Kenneth outlined what he believes to be the growth challenges currently being faced by the Port of Fujairah due to date, and often inaccurate, manual bunkering practices by those operating in and around the port. He went on to explain that this could be rapidly remedied through increased regulation and digitalisation, transforming Fujairah into a leading strategic bunkering hub on a par with the Port of Singapore.
